Privacy Policy

1. Data we handle

To process a payment and keep accurate records, we handle:

• Transaction details such as the amount, currency, reference, and status.
• Buyer contact details you choose to send, such as an email or phone number.
• Mobile money network and the masked identifiers needed to settle a payment.
• Account and security data for the people who sign in to the admin portal.

We do not store full card numbers. Card payments run on a hosted page, so card details never reach our servers or yours.

2. Why we handle it

We use this data only for clear purposes:

• To route, complete, and reconcile payments.
• To prevent fraud and keep accounts secure.
• To meet our legal and regulatory duties in Ghana.
• To support you when you ask for help.

3. Sharing

We share data with the payment providers needed to complete a transaction, such as the mobile money networks and our card processor, and only the minimum each one needs. We do not sell your data or the data of your buyers to anyone.

4. Security

Provider credentials and other secrets are encrypted at rest. Access to the admin portal is protected with authentication and can be locked down further with a second factor. The ledger is append only, so financial records cannot be quietly changed after the fact.

5. Keeping data

We keep transaction and ledger records for as long as the law requires, because financial records must be auditable. Other data is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.

6. Your choices

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete data we are not required to keep. Send your request to hello@izzipaygh.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated to production accounts in advance where we can.
